Overall, it is observed that the use of the Internet has increased and television has decreased over the period of time. whereas, usage of radio has remained constant with slight fluctuation. The popularity of the Internet as a channel to spend time started to grow after the year 1993 and has been rising since then from approximately 1 hour a day. There was a sudden surge in usage after the year 2000 reaching up to around 14 hours by 2015. similarly, Radio remained a constant source for entertainment with less than 5 hours spent on it. The use of Printed materials has shown a downward trend same as that of Television. Around 1997, there is a sharp decline and the trend is followed till the end of the given time period that is 2. 5 hours for printed material and 17. 5 hours for Television.
