Firstly, during day time, the water from the river is store in high-level aquaria by the use of dam. From that high-level water storage water goes into power station through intake and the flow of that water rotate the turbine.
The turbine, connects with generator and it produce electricity through it and power supplies via national grid power lines. At the end water store into low-level reservoir for reuse.
On the other hand, during night this process goes in a reverse way. Means water is pumping back through turbine by moving that trubine into opposite direction and water pump into high level reservoir for generate electricity during day by re-using that water.
