How does a wave-energy machine work?

How does a wave-energy machine work? 0EJ1G
The diagram illustrates how electricity is generated using a wave-energy machine. Overall, When waves enter the machine, there is a flow of air inside the machine, which consequently turns the turbines to generate electricity. Initially, as waves push themselves into the bottom of the machine, the level of the water rises and creates an airflow that helps turn the lower turbines. Similarly, airflow from the top provides enough force to turn the upper turbines. Both the turbines combined, generate enough power using an electricity generator. The air circulates through the machine and is let out from the top-right of the machine. There are 2 places where it is possible to set up the wave-energy machines. Firstly, it can be installed closer to the land where the waves are small, therefore giving less output, while the cost of installing is less. Secondly, these machines can be placed deeper into the sea where there are bigger waves, which generates more electricity, although the money required for installing is higher.
