As can be seen from the graph it is clearly evident that Facebook, Printest, Instagram, Linkedin and Twitter witnessed an upward trend over the time frame with Facebook being the most favored social media.
In 2012, the percentage of Facebook registered the highest among the five, standing at 67 percent. This proportion increased slightly to about 71 percent in 2013 before reaching 72% in 2015. In 2021 Linkedin and Twitter made up an immensely modest proportion, by about 20%, 16% respectively before climbing steadily to 23 percent and 25 percent in 2015 compared to Printest, Instagram which Experienced the most dramatic increases in 2015, by about 31 percent and 28 percent respectively which accounted more than a half of their proportion in 2012
