The graph illustrates various expenditures which are measured in percentage between the months January and April. It presents three different types of expenditures (food, clothing and gas). Overall, it is evident that the monthly average was a Straight line between the months January and February, then it saw an upsurge from Feb to march but then it steadily declined from march to April. The trend presented in the graph shows that out of the four months, food has the highest expenditure in the first three months accounting to more than $400 each month and has the lowest in the month of April which accounts to approximately $300. The other major expense has been clothing, It has seen an upsurge compared to gas in January and April and it accounts to more than $1500 altogether from January to April. The third major expense is gas and it accounts to more than $1400 in all and has the highest spends in April accounting to almost $600. All in all, the graph shows that in a typical household in the USA the monthly expenditure for food, clothing and gas could be anywhere between $1100 and $1600.
