In this chart we can observe the temperatures and number of sun hours for three of the biggest cities in the world: London, New York and Sydney. All the information is organized by months and each color is for a different city. First, we can notice that New York has a more stable number of hours of sun during the whole year compared to the other cities. January’s and February’s sun is up for at least 25 hours, but starting in March the hours decrease slowly till July were, the sun is just for 15 hours. This means 10 hours less than the start of the year. But then, the sun hours start to increase again till November and December, were the sun hours are exactly the same as in the first two months of the year. Secondly, London has the lowest overall range of sun hours during a year. Surprisingly the chart is the opposite as New York’s chart, showing in July the most amount of sun hours without 24. On the other hand, sun hours for December and January are about 8 hours. This is why London is a cold city during most time of the year. Finally, Sydney has the biggest range of sun hours through all the year, starting with less than 5 hours in January, and rapidly increasing to 30 hours in July. This shows that Sydney’s weather is less regular than New York and London.
