It is clear that, in 2008, the percentage of school leavers going on to higher education ranged between twenty and thirty five percent. The highest of these figures was in Dovehouse School, while the lowest was at Highfield Academy. There was an increase of five percent across all three schools the following year, but the most significant change occurred in 2010. That year there was a marked increase at both Highfield Academy and Dovehouse School. However, at Starmead College, there was a drop of 10%. Figures stagnated in 2011, but there were further changes in the final year, when figures continued increasing at Highfield Academy and Dovehouse School. This widened the gap with Starmead College, where figures continued to fall to just over twenty percent.
