GOVERNMENTS SHOULD SPEND MONEY ON RAILWAYS RATHER THAN ROADS m3J8K
We are able to recognize that in recent years governments have spent plenty of money on roads trying to improve the traffic in different cities. However, we can notice how this purpose has not been achieved in all places, so another option could be constructing railways. This essay will examine this perspective. Firstly, railways are an available option to replace other means of transport. In current times, there are many locations around the world where exists an overcrowded population. This means that sometimes it is difficult to succeed only with roads because nowadays each family have at least one car. Secondly, another advantage of this transport is the quantity of people that could use it. In other words, if there are railways in a city, the amount of cars will be lower. Moreover, it could be seen how another problem will be improved due to the decrease of the contamination that the vehicles produce. On the other hand, it is truthful that the process to built railways could be complicated because the construction of them implies demolishing many roads that they had created before. Nevertheless, it is not unimaginable that only the procedure could be extensive. In conclusion, there is no doub that creating railways rather than roads is a challenge for governments and it is easier for them to take other types of measures. However, I believe they should considerate in this option because the effort will be seen in the future due to the improvement in the traffic and the decrease in the environmental pollution.
