GETTING MARRIED BEFORE TURNING 21 YEARS OLD APwow

It is claimed by several people that the age from which one should be legally allowed to get married is 21 years old. Although this idea is supported by many, I totally disagree with that, because in my view, the maturity to marriage is acquired before 18 years old, and that such a determination would represent a violation of the human rights. The first reason why I believe a couple should be ready to get married before 21 is that many studies show that the personality and mentality of a human being is well developped at the age of 17 or 18. In many countries teenagers at the age of 16 or 17 are allowed to drive, for example, and that could be compared the responsability of a marriage. We see everyday examples of great personalities and important people for our history that got married even before 16 and still, they had a normal life, with a career, kids and great achievements. Aside of the maturity, prohibiting men and women under 21 from getting married would consist in a violation of the human rights. One of the basics rights that we posse it the right of freedom and happiness. For example, I know some very successful friends that got legally married before 18 and they say that their relationship made they happier and prosperous. In conclusion, despite some people understand that marriage are not for younger people(under 21), this restriction does not take into account at what age people's mental development occurs nor the human rights that must be respected by everyone living on the planet.
