The line chart provides information about leisure activities senior citizens in the United States between 1980s and 2010s. Overall, most activities observed the upward trend, the exception for theatre. In addition, at the end of the period, hiking was much higher than others. In the 1980s, the figure of reading was 30% and of watching TV was 60%, a diffirence of 30%. After the 20-year period, reading showed a significant decline, at 20%, whereas watching TV rose sharly to 70%. By 2010s, reading reached the percentage of 60%, compared to nearly 65% of watching TV. There was a comparision of 5% of surfing the Inthernet between 20% of hiking at the beginning. During the period of 30 years, surfing the Internet showed a stable growth of 50%, which was much lower than the proportion of hiking, at 80%, ranking as the highest, ranking as the highest out of five activities at that time. In contrast, only theatre showed an downward tendency, dropping to 45%.
