The line graph shows the information about the consumed amount (in grams) of chicken, beef, lamb and fish in European between 1979 to 2004. Overall, the consumption of beef and lamb has experienced a downward trend throughout the period. In contrary, the eating rate of chicken meat was significantly increase. Moreover, the consume rate of fish is roughly the same either at the beginning or the end of the period. Beef and Lamb were the most consumed in 1979 with around 220 & exactly 150 grams per person per week respectively. In 1984 beef consumption was exponentially increased to almost 250 grams per person per week and remained steady until 1989, however its gradually declined until the end of the period with only around 130 grams per person per week consumed. The lamb consumption rate was slightly decreased in the beginning but experiencing an upward trend prior to 1989, which was hitting around 130 grams per person per week. Nevertheless, its keep dipping until 2004 without any increasement which only about 60 grams per person per week. At the beginning, chicken was the third favourited in European country with only almost 150 grams per person per week eaten. Its experiencing a significant increase through the period hitting around 200 grams per person a week consumed and significantly increase to about 230 grams per person per week. It was keep soaring until it reaches the peak after 25 years with more than 250grams consumed within seven days by a single person. Fish was the only one who didn’t experience any changing position with only around 50 grams per person per week consumed in the beginning and remained the lowest for more than two decades where it’s ended up only about 50 grams eaten by a person in a week.
