The human history has been violence and conflict-stricken since the beginning of the human existence. If we look back in history or to the world around us, we see wars, conflict, power struggles and revolutions, peace making kings, prudent emperors and ruthless rulers. History also reveals that society has always been predominantly male dominated, with leaders and rulers mainly being men. It is, hence, easy to blame the ruler and put the responsibility of atrocities on the shoulders of men
To begin with, women are more sensitive, lenient and merciful towards other. They adjust easily according to the circumstances and respond maturely to any cumbersome situation prevent conflict, resolve, reconcile. essential because they bring a more comprehensive peace plan to the negotiating table by addressing societal needs rather than solely focusing on what will make the warring parties happy. women express compassion by socializing, bonding with other and nurturing relatives with great affection. In the contemporary world, they play different roles, for example they are the best mentors for their children and in some families women work full time and they act as a breadwinner of the family.
From ages, women are protecting, improvising and raising offspring who needed them while men engage in herculean tasks of hunting and warfare. Therefore, kindness, gentleness and warmth have always been associated with them
Most of the women who are known to be great till date, e. g. Queen Isabella of Spain, Queen Mary, a. k. a. Bloody Mary, Victoria, and Elizabeth of Britain, all have ruled over a vast spectrum of power. And they often have done so ruthlessly, achieving goals with an iron hand. They have waged wars that are barely comparable to only a few of those devised by men. These women are not anomalies of history, but examples from numerous others, who went beyond the boundaries of gender in the path of prevailing in power while expanding peace whenever they deemed it to be expandable.
Furthermore, men are naturally predisposed towards aggression. This stems from both biology and society. Men produce more testosterone than women and this has been shown to increase aggressive tendencies and violent behaviour. Men can curb this instinct but it has the potential to undermine their better nature at any moment. There are also societal forces at work that play on men’s pride. From a young age, boys are raised to be tough, to not back down, to not compromise and to idealise violent heroes. The majority of male role models are violent, ranging from historic figures to action stars and even videogame characters. It is hard to disentangle the roles of nature and nurture clearly but the end product of their combination is clear for both males and females.
Most organisations are reluctant to provide employment to a person accused of a crime or an offence. Such an individual is perceived as a threat to the organization and thus denied a job at the company. For example, the employer may fear that the convicted person will continue the malpractices and eventually cause loss to the company. Unfortunately, an unemployed ex-prisoner has a tough time making a living and in their desperation they get into crime again. The society’s apathetic attitude to convicts is another reason that prevents their reformation. Someone who committed a crime is considered as a criminal even after they complete the punishment. Consequently, many convicts tread the wrong path again.
In order to ensure that any lawbreaker walks the right path after the punishment, the government needs to provide an opportunity to improve by the provision of at least a low paying job. Convicted criminals also need counseling so that they understand the need to reform themselves. If an individual is offered a chance to live with dignity again as well as guided for personality development, he or she is less likely to reoffend. For example if someone guilty under the law for monetary theft has a chance to earn income through righteous ways, there is an assurance that the same offence will not be repeated by the person. Thus, to prevent the criminals from repeating their crimes, it is necessary that they are introduced to possible solutions to lead a good life again. u
The overwhelming majority of juvenile crimes, from petty vandalism to violent homicide, are handled by the juvenile justice system, not adult courts. The separation of the two systems is a recognition of the differences between them, and by default, greater opportunities for forgiveness and redemption provided for the latter.
Juvenile courts exist, in large part, to rehabilitate youth who’ve done wrong. But that’s not possible or appropriate in every case. Some juveniles commit crimes so horrific in their depravity that justice could not be carried out in the juvenile system. Although it does not happen often, young children sometimes decide to commit premeditated crimes, including homicide, and the criminal justice system must respond appropriate. An example spanning both classes was 16-year-old Sarah Johnson’s plot to murder her parents and pin the crime on an intruder. Her case was transferred to adult court, and Johnson was convicted and sentenceiplwad to life in prison. It eliminates the juvenile threshold for consequences associated with severe crime.
It provides a way to teach accountability.
Children are often a product of their home environment. If illegal actions seem like they are “normal” or “accepted” in their household, then they will see that as being an acceptable course of action to take in the rest of society as well. At some point, society needs to teach all youth, no matter what their home background may be, that there are actions which are permitted and ones that are not for the greater protection of everyone. Juveniles being tried as an adult is one way that we can begin this lesson.
It is a well known fact that the success of a company, or lack thereof depends on the members of the organization. While some are of the opinion that successful businesses are able to achieve such results due to family members owning and running the business, others argue such an endeavour could be problematic. I agree with the former opinion, and in this essay I will highlight my reasons for doing so.
A family run business has certain decided advantages. Firstly, it is natural such a business will be constructed on a foundation of shared values and dreams. Due to this common vision, family members are more likely to undertake different roles and assignments in order to meet project deadlines and finish a job well to uphold the name of the organization. This level of dedication is hard to find and even harder to replicate in other multinational corporations, where most employees are less likely to shoulder such additional responsibilities. This results in a cohesive workforce unit, where members work in a coordinated and dedicated manner allowing the company to progress and develop increased work-related opportunities.
Secondly, family run business have a number of their own kin as members of the board. This unified leadership allows room to not only promote solidarity, but also improve trust and authenticity among employees. For instance, decisions pertaining a certain business deal will be met with logical reasoning and any ethical dilemma will be weighed against its benefits, to allow for the best possible outcome, which will make both the leaders, as well as the followers happy. Such a foresight will result in leadership longevity. Moreover, this authentic behavior will allow for workers to formulate and implement better ideas, which would improve clientele satisfaction, and increase the investment returns by these clients.
To conclude, I believe that the benefits of a family run business, such as an agreement of upholding a certain code of moral conduct and a shared foresight of future endeavors, along with the subsequent self reliance, allows for a company that is not only ethical, but also successful.
