The illustrations above are depictions of the changes that have taken place in the vicinity of the city hospital. In order to convey the extent of the changes, a comparison of the surroundings of the City Hospital and the changes in the routes leading towards it between the years 2007 and 2010 are shown.
The area in the vicinity of the city hospital had seen some radical changes in between the years 2007 - 2010, which seem to have been made with the aim to make commuting to and fro from the hospital more convenient for everyone concerned. The most prominent ones are the bifurcation and relocation of the car parking, the addition of the bus station near the hospital and the placing of two roundabouts on the hospital road.
A bus station can be seen in the diagram of 2010, which is connected to two roundabouts on the hospital road. None of these aspects can be seen in 2007, where the hospital road is just a straightforward path with trees on either side leading to the hospital. The bus station, which lies to the southwest of the hospital, faces the new staff car parking, which lies to the south east of the hospital and connects to the hospital ring road. To the east of the hospital lies the public car parking. As in the aformentioned case, the separation of the car parkings is not seen in the diagram of the year 2007, with there being just one common car parking for both public and staff to the south of the hospital.
Another modification which can be seen in the year 2010 which was previously not present in the year 2007 is the addition of a roundabout on the city road, which leads to the new bus station(described in the paragraph above) and the hospital road. The inclusion of another roundabout to the southeast of the hospital at a certain distance from the staff parking can be seen in the 2010 representation. A bus stop which lay to the far east of the hospital in the year 2007 can also not be seen in the year 2010, so it can be safey assumed that it was removed in the time period that this passage covers.
