This chart shows the time spent on sport and exercise per week by 16 to 24-year-olds in England. The salmon color represents the males and the blue represents the females. It is clear that most of the youths spend no time for sports, it is a striking finding that the ratio of women who spend no time exercising are 2 times higher than men. Approximately 20% of females spare less than 1 hour for exercise while this ratio is below 15% in males. The ratio of males and females who exercise 1 to 3 hours in a week is equal which is 20%. Women who spend 5 to 7 hours for sport in a week are dramatically less than men, because 1 in 10 males spend those hours to exercise while this ratio is 1 in 100 for females. 15% of men have 7 or more hours in a week for exercising, the portion only 5% for women. The charts demonstrates that women are less likely to spend time for sports than men. One should consider having solutions for this inequality.
