Altought there is a steady growth in the percetage of the population who owns a computer, in the second graph it is apparent that those with higher education almost always have a computer at home. It is interesting to notice that even those with no high school diploma more than doubled the percetage of ownership during the period, they represent less than half of what those who start college.
According to the first graph in just eight years the possession of computers grew almost twenty percent, being present in aproximedly 80% of homes.
When compared to the evolution by educational level, the onwership percetage grew from 70% to 90% to those postgraduate qualification, showing an Evolution similar to the general popupaltion. But when we analize the others educational levels those with not even a highschool diploma went from a 15% average to a 40%, and similar tendencies can be seen in the others levels.
With the analysis of the information shown, we can assume that the home computer has become more popular and accessible, being present in everyday life not only to academic pourposes.
