The map illustrate how the Meadowside village and Fontan, which is a neighboring town have developed over the three different time lines 1962, 1985 and the present. Overall, Meadowside village has increased in size and has become Meadowside suburb as it is merged with the Fontan village. Furthermore, there is development in the housing sector, furniture stores and Hotels. In, 1962, both Meadowside and Fontan were completely separated with no roads or rail connecting to them. While, Fontan had a railway line running through it's north, Meadowside, located on the west side of the Fontan will a small road passing through village towards upside. By 1985, there was a considerable growth in the size of Meadowside village Moreover they laid a road which connects the Meadowside village from the center of the village to the town that is laid to the west. At, present there is significant development in the Meadowside village, furthermore, Fontan is combined with the village and formed as a suburb named Meadowside. From, Fontan there is a railway connects to the station which is located in between the village and town. Moreover, towards upside of station there is hostel to stay and below it there is a business park.
