The two pictures illustrate the situation of Felixstone in the year 1967 and 2001. It is significant that there was many changes in 2001 in Felixstone compare to 1967 expect the golf course and shops which are on the left of the high street, cafe and dunes which are the centre and west of the town. In the year 1967, golf course and shops, farmland and shops are located on each side of the Felixstone's high street. Running along the sea, dunes were existed on the back of the hotel, when pier and marina were on the southeast ofthe cafe. On the opposite of the farmland crossing the road is the fish market. It can be seen clearly that, shops on the right of the high street had been replaced by the modernized apartments in 2001. Farmland had converted to make way for leisure infrastructures as swimming pool, hotel and tennis court in the east of the Felixstone. When the hotel had developed with an enormous car parking in 2001, wind turbines had added along the sea opposite of the dunes. Reconstructing the public beach in the area of pier and marina was totally different from other changes whereas fish market had demolished and turned into private beach near the sea.
