The graphs illustrate the time it takes employees to commute to their workplace, and their chosen mode of transport. The data shown compares London to the rest of the UK. It can be seen that the majority of workers reach their destination by car. Regarding other modes of transportation, walking and taking the bus are much more common than cycling, travelling by train or using the Underground. The use of bicycles is basically non existent.  For most of the UK, the number of commuters decreases, when the travel time increases. Almost three quarters of commuters outside London reach their workplace within thirty minutes. In London, on the other hand, this trend differs. For a high percentage of people living in the big city it takes thirty to sixty minutes to reach their work, which is much more than for the rest of the UK?  Overall, it can be said, thar it takes much longer to commute to work in London, than outside the city. Moreover, people prefer using cars as their mode of transport.
