Both maps show the developments which have taken place in the city of Castellon, in recent times compared to 2010. It seems that Castellon has become a modern city, with so many changes on its northern and southern side. On the northern side of the town, the only place that remained the same in Castellon over the period is the university. Besides of the university, the small forest has been cut down and replaced by a new shopping centre. To the south of the shopping centre, we can see the airport that has been under construction until now. On the other side of the city, a hall of residence has been built on an empty land. And also, next to the university there is a new train station to replaced the old station where the police station stood at. To the south, the port area has transformed into an entertainment centre with a cinema, bars and clubs. Then, the city centre has been introduced bike rental scheme. The old market next to the city centre has been moved to a new covered market and turn into a new shop.
