Overall, oil was the most popular energy in America in two different years, while the British tended to favor coal in 2000 and it was gas in 2006. Looking at the details, as regards the percentage of energy consumed in 2000 and 2006, oil and coal was more popular in the USA than Britain. The amount of oil witnessed a slight incease after six years. However, the figure for coal fell dramatically between 2000 and 2006 from approximately 29 percent to 13 percent in the UK and from nearly 34 percent to 23 percent in the US. By contrast, the proportion of three other energy was not used as much in the US as in the England in both years. Gas was a sharp rise from 20 percent to 39 in the Great Britain and from 15 percent to 24 percent in the United State in 2000 and 2006. The figure for nuclear power declined gradual in two contries. Americans deceased using other renewable sources by around 2 percent, from 6 percent in 2000 to 4 percent in 2006. Whereas, these energy was a grow in the United Kingdom between 2000 and 2006.
