Book 13 test 4 Changes at the sport centre Page 94 bD0xQ
Both diagrams display the actual situation of the University Sport Centre and the planned changes for the future. To start with, the main developments will concern the addition of a second swimming pool and the extension of the principal unit by the inclusion of new indoors spaces by sacrificing the two outdoor courts. Moreover, while the reception and the central zone of the present sport centre will remain immutable, the frontal part of it will be undergone in evident changes. Specifically speaking, two changing rooms will be included and located at the south-western and the south eastern edges of the edifice. The former will serve directly the opposite leisure pool, and the latter will be adjacent to the new build café. A sport shop will be placed symmetrically on the left side of the main entrance. The gym on the north zone of the unchanged central part of the venue (reception, pool, changing room and seating) will be extended towards east up to the most external new dance studios at the border of the construction. A corridor will be separated the two dance studios from a new sport hall which will be erected next to the seating in the place where a outdoor courts is now available. In short, the centre will be renewed at expense of open-air facilities, that will be replaced by new equipped indoor spaces.
