The bar chart demonstrates the rate of the literate people in various regions across the world based on two genders in 2011. Overall, It is clear that, literacy rate was variable between 60% and 100% in all selected areas. In the best and worst-case scenarios for the female, rate differences between men and women were 0% and 20% respectively. In Central Asia and Central / Eastern Europe with 100% and close to 100% rates which have the highest literacy rates in comparison to other regions, the female and male rates were equal. Moreover, in the East Asia / Pacific as an area with a high rate, female literacy was a few percents less than the another one, whereas this difference is considerable in four other cases. For instance, the largest difference was in South and West Asia with 20% variation. Nevertheless, the lowest rates were in Sub-Saharan Africa with 60% and around 70% for the female and male sequentially. The bar chart which has been presented, shows the largest difference for the male between Central Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa with 30% and also, with 40% for the female among these districts. In conclusion, analysing data in the chart illustrates that the rate of illiterate women is more than illiterate in this case study And literacy rate was changeable between 60% and 100%.
