Dear librarian, i hope you are going well. I am writing to inform you about an unexpected situation that has come up, which is affecting my ability to return the books i borrowed from the library on time. Recently, i have had to travel out of town to attend to a family matter, my grandmother has fallen seriously ill, and i have been asked to assist in their care. This situation has required me to stay longer than i thought, so i will not be able to return the books to the library before their due date. Alternatively, if there is any way for me to return the books remotely of have someone else return them on my behalf, i would greatly appreciate your management on how to proceed. Please let me know what the best course of action would be. Once again, i apologize for the inconvenience and greatly appreciate your understandingduring this time. I look forward to hear you soon
