- Returning with this topic. Today, I would like to take this opportunity to talk about the problems in job-seeking. And my presentation consists of 2 main parts which is the challenges that college graduates confront when looking for jobs and the general fault that jobseekers commonly mistake when taking in job interviews. Let’s begin with the first section.
- Yes, there are a lot of difficulties in applying for a job for university-leavers. The reason behind this is that one of the most important problems that I want to mention in my presentation is high expectations of recruiters from applicants nowadays. This means they always request that candidates must have experience, qualifications, and character in the sector that they’re looking for. I also believe that to start a job, we need to have not only the theory learned from school but also practical skills gained from life. Take the case of the recruitment of the marketing department in Vingroup as a plain example. They informed that they just recruit the candidates with standard such as have much experience in marketing, have to be creative, flexible and responsible in work. Futhermore they also offered jobseekers that be communicative, passionate and have English skills, soft skills and computer skills, et cetera. Even though we couldn't equate all, I believe the most employers these days commonly demand like this. That would be a reasonable difficulty to need to address in finding a job. Personally, I think it’s true to some extent.
- Then, we will move to the second point. For me, I think it’s really common to make mistakes in job interviews. Especially, fresh graduate students frequently have fundamental mistakes like arriving late or too early, using cellphones, losing focus, et cetera. But I think the most popular mistakes is that talking too much. I mean, the candidates often tend to give long and detailed answers to all questions. It’s not necessary to help us to stand out from the crowd. This might be explained by fact that the employers always have to interrupt applicants when they answer too long. In addition, the recruiters wouldn’t be impressive with long answers instead of short answers but enough information that recruiters want to hear. So, if we want to come across well in job interviews, I think we should change our mindset and try to give enough and compelling answers. I believe that employers will be persuaded for that.
- To summarize, everything always has two sides, advantages and disadvantages, I consider that the importance is that we always have a significant effort and intense passion to reach whatever we want.

Yes, there are
a lot of
difficulties in applying for a
job
for university-leavers. The reason behind this is that one of the most
important

Even though

Then, we will
move
to the second point. For me, I
think
it’s
really
common to
make
mistakes
in
job
interviews.
Especially
, fresh graduate students
frequently
have fundamental
mistakes
like arriving late or too early, using cellphones, losing focus,
et cetera
.
But
I
think
the most popular
mistakes
is that talking too much.
I mean
, the candidates

tend to give long and detailed
answers
to all questions. It’s not necessary to
help
us to stand out from the crowd. This might be
explained
by fact that the employers always

enough
information that recruiters
want

So

think
we should
change
our mindset and try to give
