Well, whenever being on holidays, many people would like to visit an ecotourism destinations where they can experience a relaxed mood. Ha Long Bay in Vietnam is a typical tourist attraction which is very famous for its natural beauty, and might be an ideal place for travelling. The name Hạ Long means "descending dragon". The Bay is located in Quang Ninh Province. It belongs to Ha Long city, Cam Pha city, and is a part of Van Don District. The Bay is a center of a larger zone which includes Bai Tu Long Bay to the northeast, and Cat Ba Island to the southwest. Ha Long Bay has an area of around 1, 553 square kilometers, including from 1, 960 to 2, 000 islets, most of which are limestone. Actually, the limestone in this bay has gone through 500 million years of formation in different conditions and environments, and the limestone karsts in this bay has taken 20 million years under the impact of the tropical wet climate. Ha Long Bay was listed in the Vietnamese National Relics and Landscapes publication in 1962, and became a World Heritage Site in 1994. A multitude of limestone islands and islets rising from the sea, in a variety of sizes and shapes have made picturesque seascapes.
