In this competitive world, Advertising has became a major role for any product's success. In my point of view advertisements are useful as they tell us about new products and make us all aware of what are there in the market. Advertisements help people know what type of things are in availablity. Based on own experience I would like to consider an item which I have heard of or which Im aware about, for example when I want to buy a mopping stick for cleaning purpose but I have seen an ad on vaccum cleaning device. Mopping stick is something I need to work hard to clean my room but because of the advertisment I became aware of the vaccum device which in turn helped to reduce my work and time to spent on cleaning my room. This is a small scenario which explains how advertisement make our lives easy. I would like to contradict the statement " Advertising encourages us to buy things that we really do not need", this statements comes into play only when a person does not have self control or disciplain. Its always a person's choice or their self assesement to decide whether the product is useful or not. For example, Amazon echo or google nest is not totally useful untill you have most of you electronic devices are smart devices. So we need to be self aware to judge an advertisment and its usefulness. If there are no adversiments, we would even not be aware of a product which results in using traditional items and may not improve our lives.
