Your friend is coming over to stay with you. However, you will be away on vacation for a month. Write him/her a letter: -Say how to get the key to your flat. -Explain how to operate the equipment in the flat, and -Suggest a few places of interest to visit.

Dear Jill, Hope you’re well. I am actually writing to let you know certain things about my apartment before you come over to stay. As I have already mentioned in my previous letter that I am going to visit my parents, I won’t be available to host you. Although I’m not home, you can stay in my apartment as long as you want. I already talked to my friend Janice, she will pick you up from the airport, and give you the key to my apartment. Also, you will need a door pin number to unlock the main door, so give me a call when you reach there. Apart from that, my apartment is well equipped with all basic necessities. However, please be careful with the air conditioner. It’s not working properly, and sometimes the room gets too chilled or warm. Don’t worry! I have a portable cooler which you can use if you are comfortable. Just don’t forget to fill water before turning it on. Please feel free and comfortable as it’s your home. By the way, since you are in town why don’t you visit Universal Studios? There are many adventurous rides. You’ll love that place! Not only because of rides, but also it’s Christmas season and they have the best celebration in the town. You can even visit Gardens By the Bay. It’s amazing! I’ll catch up soon and we both will explore other places. I can’t wait to see you and enjoy your stay alone until I get back. Warm wishes, Pooja
