Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing this letter with reference to the flight which I was not able catch due to the uncontrollable reason at the airport. The journey was booked for 15th January 2021 and everything was on track when suddenly while boarding all the passengers were stopped. Flight attendant requested everyone to wait in the lounge area as there was delay of one hour in the flight and there was no reason mentioned which frustrated everyone. After, thirty minutes the messenger from airport arrived to formally announce, the journey has been called off and this time mentioned there were technical glitches in the aircraft. This had a devastating effect on me as I had a connecting flight to board from London to Paris for my company annual general meeting. Company budget presentation was to be presented by me and therefore my presence was crucial. I request you to reimburse the cost incurred by me.
