Dear Kimme, I hope this letter finds you well. I’m just writing to let you know that I’m not able to set off for Sapa on next Thursday as we had planned. I was excited and looking forward to join this amazing journey, but unfortunately something has come up and I truly apologize for holding up at last moment. My company is going to send me for a short training to Singapore next Tuesday and it will last within seven days. This training is really meaningful for my next promotion because my performance will be evaluated throughout this course. On a more positive note, I’m going to be available on the following Thursday and I’m planning to reschedule our tour on this day. I’m willing to pay all extra costs and I hope that you can make it.
