RODRIGO BAC Chairperson PHIVIDEC INDUSTRIAL AUTHORITY Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental Subject: Disqualification for Proposed Drilling of Two Units Deep Well (Hydraulic Drilling) Including Two (2) Submersible Pump Set with Complete Accessories Dear Ms. Rodrigo: With reference to your letter dated November 11, 2021 which notifies our company for disqualification for the project Proposed Drilling of Two Units Deep Well (Hydraulic Drilling) Including Two (2) Submersible Pump Set with Complete Accessories for the following reason: FINDINGS The computation of the Bill of Quantities submitted by the Contractor is in order. However, the detailed estimates submitted were found to have insufficient data considering the Special Condition / Pumps specification of the bidding documents. Not stated in their detailed estimate the specification of submersible pump set, specifically the Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Controller. We humbly request you to reconsider our appeal. With due respect, we want to state that we have some points to support our appeal. Most apologetically, I beg to inform you that we left out important information regarding the Submersible Pump Package. Furthermore, we omitted the VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE (VFD) CONTROLLER in the Detailed Estimates. This is due to the reason that the said item is already included in the Submersible Pump Set with Complete Accessories package. We are sorry for providing you lacking information concerning the Submersible Pump Set specification which leads to confusion. To support our appeal, we are enclosing a revised Detailed Estimate with corrected information for your review. As what can be seen from the attached file, we keep our prices in line with the bid amount that we submitted on the bidding date on October 6, 2021. Moreover, the addition of Variable Frequency Driver (VFD) Controller doesn’t change our original bid price in the same way. We would therefore humbly request you to reconsider our bid on behalf of the reasons we provided. We will, however, respect your decision. We are looking forward for a positive reply.
