Dear Sir/Madam, I have hired your taxi model G10 (Grey four seater) from the main service centre for three days duration starting yesterday. My family and I started from the main city limits into the hilly areas last afternoon to avoid the rush hour. However as luck would have it, there was an accident on the hairpin bent number 87 and we were stranded for a very long time in the traffic jam caused by it. After an annoying wait of four hours, the traffic started clearing and we were able to move. But for this speeding truck that tried to overtake us and bumped into the rear of the car. This caused our car to lose momentum and ended up banging into the trees on the left side of the road. Fortunately none of us were hurt and neither was the car halted. I have immedietly noted the vehicle number of the speeding truck and make the necessary phone calls to the complaint departments. But I am afraid the car has some serious damage which can even impact our travel back to the city. Kindly arrange for someone to come over and replace the car so that we can get back without difficulty. Once you assess the damages, we are ready to contribute a part of it based on negotiation.
