Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing in connection with my recent stay at your hotel in Rethymno, Crete. Unfortunately, for all 7 days of my vacation from June 10 to 17, I did not encounter a possibility to utilize bathroom properly.
When I checked into the hotel, I immediately discovered an issue with the plumbing. The water was barely coming out of the tap, and it was cold. The hotel receptionist explained to me that these were temporary problems and that by the evening everything would be working. But even at the end of the next day, only a trickle of cold water flowed from the tap and I asked to be moved to another room. However, the administrator said that they underwent a lack of rooms. I was not offered any alternative and options for how to solve this complication. Simultaneously, at this time of the season, all hotels have already been booked and I could not relocate to another hotel.
After 4 days, I managed to be moved to another vacant room, there was a good pressure of water in the tap, but the water was extremely cold. In the morning, I found out that the solar boilers were malfunctioning in the hotel and there were no electrical ones, which the administration were aware of a few weeks prior to my arrival and did not warn me.
I am shocked at such a terrible service. I demand a partial or full refund of the payment for the accommodation, since the administration assured me to provide hot water which was not available throughout the entire vacation. If you do not proceed with any decisions and actions regarding this situation I am prepared to apply to a higher authority with my complaint.
Yours faithfully,
Mrs. Alexandra Butlitsky
