The given line graph illustrates the amount of the changes in fast food consumed by teenagers in Australia between 1975 and 2000.

The given line graph illustrates the amount of the changes in fast food consumed by teenagers in Australia between 1975 and 2000. Units are measured in the number of times eaten per year. Overall, it can clearly be seen that the highest consumed food in the first year decreased steadily whereas the other two foods with the lowest number rose significantly throughout the given period. Moreover, while the consumption of fish and chip was the highest in the beginning, it had been overtaken by hamburgers by the end of the period. In terms of the food with the highest number of consumption in the beginning, the consumption of fish and chips stood at precisely 100 in 1975. Then, it experienced a slight decrease to nearly 80 in 1980, before rising to around 90. From this point onwards, the figure dropped gradually and hit a trough at just below 40 in 2000. Regarding the other types of food consumptions with low levels at the start, the figures for pizza and hamburgers stood far lower than fish and chips at approximately 10 and 15, respectively. The consumption of hamburgers inclined significantly and reached a peak of exactly 100 between 1975 and 1995, thus surpassing fish and chips. Similarly, the figure for pizza experienced a drastic increase to roughly 85 in the same period. Thereafter, both figures remained steady until 2000.
