It is certainly true that in this era of tough competition institutions are implementing different means in order to improve their standard as well as students’ productivity. While few individuals opine that schools should reward only top students, others believe this is imperative to appreciate those who are making improvements. The upcoming paragraphs will explicate both the notions and provide reasons why I agree with the former one. To commence with, some people think it’s a good idea to offer prizes to those pupils who are showing improvements in the academic field through their hard work. It will, undoubtedly, motivate them to keep improving. Consequently, they will be able to achieve the best grades. To illustrate an example, a survey conducted in 2008 revealed the unprecedented increase in education standard in a small town in Pakistan due to rewarding poor students for getting improved so almost 98 percent of attending pupils succeeded to achieve above average marks in exams.
