The maps illustrate the actual situation and the future development plans for the airport. Overall, though the departure and arrival areas are not expected to be expanded significantly, the gate zone will undergo a marked enlargement. At present, the departure area houses a number of check-in desks to the left of the entrance and a café to the right. On the contrary, the arrival zone is not occupied by facilities. Beyond the security, passport control and custom desks eight gates can be accessed on foot through stairs. After the expected development, departures and arrivals will be accessible through two doors each. Furthermore, the check-in desks and the café will be relocated, respectively, to the right and to the left of the entrances and a bag drop service will be added. Arrivals will contain another café and a cash machine. Moreover, a small car park will be created to the left of arrivals. People departing, after passport control will pass through a series of shops and will access to 18 gates by means of a bus service.
