This diagram illustrates how a lead pencil is made. There are twelve stages in this process starts from planting the trees and end in packaging the product.
First, some trees are planted on the soil. After four months, those trees are replanted in other areas. Three years later, when those trees are fully grown, they are thinned. After fourteen years when the trees are ready to be produced, they are slats and treated through machines. Then, the treated wood gets glued with black lead sticks. And then a new slat was put on top of it. After that, it was hard-pressed in heat to make the combination stick together. Finally, they cut the slat into pieces, painted, sharpened, and stamped them before packaging them into boxes and sell them over the world.
