The two maps provide information about the changes that took place in Tilden Airport and the surrounding area for 30 year-period from 1985 to 2015. Overall, few changes were made, resulting in more urbanized area. To begin with, the international terminal was extended as well as the car park. The Johnson's farm was demolished and then converted to business park and a housing estate. Also, a new runway was added on between the international terminal and the business park. Right across the second runway, a light rail was constructed, connecting the bus and the light rail station, and the city of Tilden. On the opposite part of the housing estate, the factories were transformed into airport support services and a hotel and conference centre. To sum up, due to the changes made between 1985 and 2015, the area around Tilden Airport became more modern and urbanized.
