The timetables below show the weekend activities at Newtown Swimming Pool and the proposed new timetable. BYaD6
The timetables illustrate activities at the weekend at Newton Swimming Pool in the current and the proposed table. Overall, the new timetable has removed two children exercises and sorted the activities for children and adults into different days. It can easily be seen that each Saturday and Sunday, the Pool opens at 9: 00 and closes at 16: 00, it has 7 shifts a day, each of them lasts for 1 hour. According to the current schedule, the three first shifts of Saturday are all children classes, which are Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced, respectively. The classes for adults at the level of intermediate and advance are arranged at the two last shifts. Lesson about water safety for children is at 13: 00-14: 00 on Saturday, the lesson on Sunday is one-hour earlier than that on Saturday. Looking at the plan, on Saturday, while all the lessons for children remain unchanged, those for adults have been arranged to a day later. In addition, a water polo class has been added at 12: 00-13: 00. As is shown in the current table of Sunday, the first and the last shift are blank. The remains are three children and two adult classes. The Intermediate lesson for children starts at 10: 00 and ends at 11: 00, following by an activity for young beginners. Another noteworthy observation is that in both timetables, the advanced exercises for adults are from 14: 00 to 15: 00. In the proposed schedule, it can be witnessed that although a water safety lesson for children has been removed, two for adults are added at 13: 00-14: 00 and the last shift of the day.
