It is clear from the data that most money was spent on food, drinks, and tobacco, while the lowest money was spent on leisure and education for all countries. Turkey remained the top spender for food, drink, and tobacco as well as for leisure and education.
In terms of food, drinks, and tobacco, Turkey and Ireland were accounted for the highest spending with just over 32% and just under 29% respectively, whereas, consumer of Spain spent the lowest which stood at almost 19%. Turning back to leisure and education, the contribution of consumers from Spain, Ireland, Italy, and Sweden were at nearly 2%, more than 2%, just over 3%, and just above 3% respectively, while Turkey took the top position with nearly 4. 5%.
With regard to fashion expenditure which includes clothing and footwear, the contribution from Italian was the highest, at 9%, and Swedish people spent the least money on fashion. Ireland, Spain, and Turkey were around 6. 5%.
