Overall, the oldest underground railway service provider is in London and also covers the longest rail route, in 1863 and 394km, respectively. It is also noticeable that Los Angeles is the latest railway as it opened in 2001. London railway system was founded in 1863, which makes it the oldest and the longest underground railway system among these six cities. Each year it received more than 700 thousand passengers. By contrast, the underground railway of Los Angeles is the newest, which was opened in 2001, it has the second shortest route and passengers, with 28km and 50 million, respectively. Regarding Kyoto railway service initiated in 1981 with merely 11km and serve only 45 million passengers each year. The railway system served the largest number of passengers was recorded for Tokyo with the length of the route was 155km and started in 1927. In 1990, Paris was established an underground railway station long 199km and over a billion passengers using the system.
