The two charts show the countries which is using the Internet very much in 2002 and 2007, and the proportion of users by region in 2007. According to the chart, the Internet users in each countries increased from 2002 to 2007. In 2002, US was the first place, and had 161 million users. Also, US is continue first place in 2007, and users increased at 211 million. Japan and China had 65 million users and 54. 5 million users respectively in 2002. In 2007, although Japan's users increased at 80 million, Japan's position dropped down to the third. On the other hand, China's users increased dramatically at 162 million, and China became second country which have the Internet users most. In 2002, Germany had 30 million users, and it was fourth place. And Germany still in fourth place in 2007, and users went up to 50 million. In 2002, the fifth place was UK at 27. 5 million users, but in 2007, India became fifth place at 42 million users. According to the rate of users by region, Asia has the highest percentage at 37%. Then the second area is Europe at 27%. This two area is almost occupying two-third of people using the Internet. By following this, North America stood at 20%, and Latin America, 9%.
