The table and line graph illustrate the percentage distribution in different sectors of employment and GDP and the percentage distribution of different sectors of GDP, observed in the year 2004 and over the period of a decade respectively. Overview, services were the biggest contributor in GDP, and workers in natural resources accounted for the majority of the labor force of a developing nation. Services (trade, restaurants, hotels, transport, communication, government) contributed significantly more to GDP than others, despite declining steadily from above 60% in 1998 to just under 60% in 2007. in 2004, services also made up 58% of GDP, but comprised only 15. 2% of the workforce.
