The diagram illustrates how cherry jam is produced. Generally, it is clear that there are various steps involved, beginning with gathering the cherry and ending with labeling jam containers in the manufacture. At the beginning, a sheet is spread on the ground and the tree is shaking to get the cherries. Next, cherries are collected and are transported to the processing plant. After that, the leaves and steam are removed from the the cherries. Following this, the cherries are washed by water and then, stones is removed out of the middle of the cherry. Subsequently, the cherries are cooked and extra ingredients such as lemon juice, sugar and pectin are added. After the cooking is finished, the cherry jam is checked by the quality control unit. In the next stage, the jam is taken into jars and the final stage is the label is stuck on the jars.
