In 2000, one fifth of student did not know any language except English, this proportion decreased in 2010, and just 10% of students were one-lingual. The proportion of student who spoke German, in addition to English, was the same for both years (10%). In addition, bilingual students who could speak Spanish, increased from 30% in 2000 to 35% in 2010. The percentage of pupils at university, who had ability of speaking another language and French only were identical in 2000, but, in 2010, proportion of another language experienced a 5% increase to 20% and French only percentage decrease from 15% to 10%. Moreover, the proportion of trilingual student also increased by 5%
