Overall, during the decade, a huge proportion of students were able to speak Spanish, while the least allotment of these students could speak German. In 2000, one fifth of student did not know any language except English, this proportion decreased in 2010, and just 10% of students were one-lingual. The proportion of student who spoke German, in addition to English, was the same for both years (10%). In addition, bilingual students who could speak Spanish, increased from 30% in 2000 to 35% in 2010. The percentage of pupils at university, who had ability of speaking another language and French only were identical in 2000, but, in 2010, proportion of another language experienced a 5% increase to 20% and French only percentage decrease from 15% to 10%. Moreover, the proportion of trilingual student also increased by 5%
