The pie charts compare the amount of 5 different sorts of energy which were produced in France in 1995 and 2005. It is noticeable that gas and coal accounted for 29. 63 and 29. 8 per cent in 1995, and this figure was very similar in 2005, at 30. 31 per cent and 30. 93 per cent. Because petrol threatened the environment so people turned to produce nuclear energy and other instead of petrol and the percentage of petrol decreased. In the year 1995, gas and coal had the highest per cent at 29. 63 and 29. 8 percentage. The remaining energy comprised petrol, nuclear and other, with the figures being 29. 27%, 6. 4% and 4. 9% respectively. It continued in 2005, the percentage of gas and coal were approximate with the percentage in 1995 at 30. 31% and 30. 93%. The proportion of petrol decreased from 29. 27% to 19. 55% and the percentage of nuclear energy and other energy increased to 10. 1% and 9. 1%.
