The given pie chart depicts the proportion of women in deprivation by household composition in the US-United States in the year of 2008 and the bar graph indicates the differences in rates by sex and age in the United States in the year of 2008. Overall, it can be observed in bar and pie graph, single women with no dependant children witnessed the large group in indigence and that impoverishment was highest for women and children. To begin with, it is observed from the pie chart that just over a half percent women in poverty who were single as well as no dependant children and roughly one quarter of the female were in poverty with dependant children. Furthermore, the 12 percent of married women with children suffer from poverty which was followed by 8 percent female who married, nevertheless no dependant children. Moving towards the bar graph, it was vivid that poverty rates among children(0-5 years) is almost same that is 21 percent. Besides that, the percentage of poverty between males and females declined to nearly 15 percent under the age of 17 years. On contrary, the proportion of poverty in women were significantly proliferated to 20 percent which is 5 percent more than man poverty in the age of 18-24. Moreover, poverty rates by sex were dramatically decreased by 5 percent till the age of 74 years. Then, the proportion of poverty of men was decreased by 7 percent and in the women was increased by 12 percent.
