Overall, while both sodium and saturated fat have a very similar distribution between meals, added sugar proportions vary greatly from the other two nutrients. Whereas dinner has the most significant amount of both sodium and saturated fat (43% and 37%, respectively), 42% of the added sugar is found in snacks. In contrast, snacks have just 14% of sodium which is also the same percentage of this nutrient in breakfast. In comparison, there is 16% of saturated fat and added sugar in breakfast meals while unhealthy sugar represents 23% of dinner. The percentage of not healthy nutrients in lunch is not constant, but it does not vary significantly representing 29% of sodium, 26% od saturated fat, and 19% of added sugar. The meal with the less significant percentage of these nutrients is breakfast (14%, 16%, and 16% respectively), and the one with the most is dinner (43%, 37%, and 23% sequentially).
