At the beginning of the process, the raw material of coal was identified as swamp in about 300 million years ago. After the period of 200 years, plants was dead and these tress created three layers of mixture. As we can see from the diagram, the deepest layer was the deceased plants which was followed by dirt in the bottom layer. Finally, over two layers was the seabed
In recent time, the surface of earth was covered by the combination of rocks and dirt. This mixture, in the next stage, produced heat and pressure in the ground of earth to transfer the two deepest layer into the coal
