In 2013, almost 80% of the population used Tv as a tool to access news, more than any other category. By 2015, the figure had decreased slightly to 78% but quickly increased to 71% in 2015, still being the most used media. Also decreasing but with a faster rate was the number for printed newspapers. Starting as the second most used media, the percentage of the population accessing news via newspapers decreased significantly from 41% to 20%. On the contrary, the Internet is the only static increase and is thought to have the biggest change in the chart. Having started at the low point in 2013, the Internet has a surge in popularity from 31% to 70%, which is the second most used media in 2017. Meanwhile, the percentage of the population access news via Radio is estimated to remain the same through 4 years of the research. Overall, Television is the most chosen by people to access news of all time. However, the Internet is expected to have the biggest change and will continue to increase in the future.
