The two maps illustrate some improvements and changes of a shopping centre, which had made over a twenty-year period. Overall, there has been some significant modifications in terms of the internal layout of the shopping centre but the basic shape of the centre is still the same as before. In 1985, between Women’s Clothing and Sporting Goods zone, there was a bookstore but it has been removed later. The gift store which was laid next to the Card Shop has been demolished as well. The fountain located in the lobby has been also demolished to allow for a bigger central area. Turning to the 2005 map, the Video shops have been transformed into 2 parts: the smaller one beside the Jewellery Shop has been the Shoes store and the rest part has turned into an Electronics store. Focusing on the food court zone, on the right hand side of the Electronic zone, all the food stalls have been transferred into Café shops. Additionally, there is a food stall which has been built in the midst of the court while there is one vacant stall at the front corner. Another noticeable change over a period made to the centre was the elimination of six cinema zones. Yet there have been some alternations made inside, the entrance, department store and the bank have been still kept in the same location.
